Konad Nail Art

Hello again! I have a simple Konad nail art today that uses winter colors to create a cute design. I used Pure Ice - Platinum, a pearly white base for this design. Two coats made is opaque enough. I Used konad plates m79 and m60.

I stamped the dots (m60) with China Glaze - Avalanche and the flower (m79) with China Glaze - First Mate.

More to come :)

Package from Trans design came today!

Hey Guys! I got a package from Transdesign today! OMG I can't wait to get to all of these China Glaze colors. I ordered 4 from the fall 2011 metro collection. In addition I got 8 other colors I can't wait to show you! The color I was most looking forward to is Touch of Glamour which is a shimmer nude shade. It's the color I put on right out of the package.

I got it on and couldn't stop looking at my nails! Its gorgeous nude shade with a hint of peach but it still maintains an inconspicuous quality. Its the perfect manicure for discretion and elegance.

I used another color I got today to stamp with. Again, all shades are from China Glaze. This dark green shimmer is called Gussied up Green. I stamped with Konad plates m57 and m79. I hope you like and try this glorious nude shade!

Stamping with Pure Ice and Sally Hansen

Hey all! Today I did some testing to see which shades of common drug store polishes work well with Konad Stamping. The colors I used on my nails were Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear.

From left to right the colors are Wet Cement, Gunmetal, Very Cherry, Blue me Away! and Green with Envy. I applied two coats of each to give a good foundation for the stamping.

On my pinkie, ring and middle fingers I stamped with plate m79. The pink on my pinkie is Pure Ice China Girl. (All stamping colors are pictured below) The white on my ring finger is Jordana White. My middle finger was stamped with Pure Ice Wild Thing.

I used plate m57 for my pointer with Pure Ice Excuse Me. Its a metallic yellow that didn't show up so great but I think it would if it were stamped on a lighter color. My thumb is stamped with LA Colors Color Craze #580. Of all the colors I used today I think this worked best.

The white polish I used worked really well for being a cheaper brand which makes me happy because affordable is always a good thing. :)

Bought China Glaze Today!

Today I bought two polishes at Sally's. China Glaze Fairy Dust and Avalanche.

I applied Fairy Dust by itself so I could see its potential. I believe this is three or four generous layers. The pictures don't give them justice. my nails are Sparkling!

Avalanche is a silver metallic with hints of purple. I love this subtle shade that will be great for winter.

I plan on using both polishes in future nail art so stay tuned! Until Next Time..
